Day 10: S'mores

"Do you want a s'more?" "S'more of what." (sorry, every single time I eat a s'more, I think of the movie The Sandlot.)
Today was cold. I mean, even for Dave it was cold (because for me, if it dips down into the 50s, that's cold). I don't think it got over 37 today. We took advantage of it (because it's suppose to be back in the upper 60s later this week. YAY!), and I built a fire.  I decided to be "fun mom" this afternoon.
So, when William got home from school, we decorated Christmas cookies.

Pretty sure I have a couple of pyromaniacs. They couldn't stay away from the fire!

After dinner, we made s'mores:
and Crew had a graham cracker. He's none the wiser.

my super, delicious s'more. Hello Body Pump tomorrow morning!

Day 9: Mr. Smiles

Ok, so these are a little blurry, but you get the idea.

Day 8: park!

Dave is under the weather, so the boys and I headed to the park this afternoon. And it was perfect weather for it!

Day 7: who knew?

We love our Roomba. In fact, it's one of the best impulse purchases I've ever made. When we first got it, the kids were enamored by this robot that vacuums our house.
Hudson had his BFF over for a playdate today, and Reid is also a fan of the Roomba. We introduced it to him last time he was over, and he has since put it on his Christmas wishlist. So, he was eagerly anticipating a second visit with our Roomba.

They're singing "nanny nanny boo boo" to the robot...
Who knew such a simple home appliance could provide 2 4 yr olds so much fun?

Day 6: bedtime

I don't know about your family, but bedtime can get a little crazy around here. Here's William and Hudson during catechism time...

Day 5: Park action

Today was such a beautiful day that Hudson, Crew and I headed out for a bike/scooter ride to the park.

In case you're wondering if Crew looks like he's about to fall off the slide. As a matter of fact, as soon as I snapped the pic, he went tumbling over. Good thing he's tough!

Hudson was practicing his high jumps...

Day 4: just Crew

I look forward to Tuesdays and Thursdays for a couple of reasons: I get to spend some quality time with JUST Crew...no competition with his older brothers! And I get a little bit of peace and quiet around here, especially since Crew still takes a morning nap!
I think Crew enjoys it too. While he seems to love his big brothers very much, they torture him. William and Hudson seem to think Crew is their live doll/toy, and Crew doesn't normally appreciate it very much. So, I think Crew enjoys having the lay of the land around here, without fear of getting pounced, picked up, knocked over, or otherwise trampled.
Happy Tuesday!
