A close friend of mine just turned 40. Being the totally awesome friend that I am, I organized a huge surprise party for her. :-)
It was a blast, and I feel certain that she had no idea it was going to happen:

Looks like I need you as a party planner down here when John turns 30 next year!!! I knew it had to be a party by you when I saw the pink and black :)
