Day 24: Cousins
There's not much better than meeting your cousins for the very first time. The boys have really enjoyed getting to know their cousin from the Dennison side of the family. Zoe and Crew are only 5 months apart, and they already are hitting it off like they've known each other since birth. And trying to get a picture of the 2 of them together, both looking at the camera presented quite the challenge, not to mention the fact that they are quick movers (hence the blurry pics). We are loving all the cousin time!

Day 22: Roadtrip
We are headed to St Louis (via Bartlesville) for Christmas with the Dennison side of the fam. It's especially exciting because the kids are getting to meet their cousin, Zoe, for the first time.
Road trips are not fun for me. There's really nothing about it that I like. I didn't even like them before I had kids. But, with all these people we have now, flying really isn't an option. So, this is how we ALL maintain our sanity:

Day 21: Taking advantage
I took advantage of some cuddle time today with Hudson. It's not too often he falls asleep next to me!
Day 20: Hudson's Christmas party
Hudson's class party was so fun! The kids sang some Christmas songs and recited a Bible verse. I just love these kids!
Crew enjoyed the cookies!
William had a Christmas party too, but there wasn't a whole lot of fanfare. I guess that's what happens when they get bigger. :-(

Day 16: Animals and hot chocolate
We went to a Christmas thing at one of the local churches here, and they had a really nice petting zoo and free hot chocolate. The kids LOVED it…and it helped having friends there with us!

Day 15: Loud
As you can imagine, it is very loud at our house, with 3 boys. It's a rare occasion that I let things just get loud and stay loud. My ears just can't handle it. But, last night they were having so much fun together, so I just let it happen. Hudson is riding the Plasma car, pulling William behind in a basket. What you can't see is that Crew is chasing them, crying because he wants to ride the car. Ok, so I guess not everyone is having fun.
Crew eventually got on the car, and they all 3 had a blast…for as long as my ears could handle it.
Day 14: Mavs fans for Life
We took the older boys to their first Mavs game. I'm usually pretty stingy when it comes to going to Mavs games-- not wanting the boys to spoil one of my favorite evenings out. But, they're getting old enough now, and they both enjoy basketball. So, we figured it was time to introduce them to "our team." They loved it!

Day 13: a day with Kindergardeners
I had a fun day today accompanying Hudson's Kindergarden class to the science museum to see the Curious George exhibit. We had a blast (and bless those Kindergarden teachers)! We absolutely LOVE Hudson's teacher, as well as all his sweet classmates.

Day 11: Fire
Is it just me, or is everyone else's kids little pyromaniacs? Or I guess maybe they were just trying to warm up by the fire.
Day 10: back to school!
Well, in case you didn't hear, we've been having what some have been calling "Icemaggedon" for the past 5-6 days. We usually get a little ice and/or snow around here a couple times a year, and every now and again school gets cancelled for maybe a day. Well, we had Friday and Monday off, as well as a late start Tuesday. Let's just say this momma was ready for the kids to get back into a routine AT school!
Since we live 25 minutes from school, we carpool with a few families. It is so nice to only have to make the drive once a day. The craziness of 5-6 kids in the car never gets less crazy. Here is how these crazies felt after their first day back after the ice-days (and Crew and our pre-schooler friend weren't even in the car! this was a "quiet" ride):

Day 7: the Tree
We got our tree on Monday before my sickness set in, so we just go around to decorating it today. The kids always have a blast hanging ornaments. I'm a fan of letting the kids hang ornaments where they wish. I prefer the mis-match tree rather than the whole matchy match tree.
(I know it's suppose to be just 1 photo a day, but how could I choose just 1???)
