Dave's mom, Pat, came to visit over the weekend and boy did we have fun!! Of course, William and Hudson were thoroughly spoiled, read to, played with, and fussed over. But this time, Dave and I got spoiled a bit too! Pat bought us a brand new bed. We have a nice mattress/box springs ensemble, but we've never gotten around to buying the pretty bed part of the bed. It has yet to be delivered, so pictures to come of that...
It was a very fun, action packed weekend full of picnics, a trip to the pool, a ride on the mini-train, shopping for new shoes for the boys (thanks to Grandma, they walked out of Stride-Rite with 3 new pair of shoes for the fall/winter!!), lunch at Chick-Fil-A, dinner out at a nice restaurant, a nice break from reading kids' books, etc...
William is already talking about seeing Grandma and Grandpa at Christmas. Grandma told him that she is going to buy him a tent so that he can play with it on the deck outside, so I get to hear about that for the next 3 1/2 months!
