I realize these next few blogposts are coming 3-6 months late, but better late than never!
At the end of July we got word that Bell was moving us to Amarillo for 2-3 years. In the spirit of keeping this blog "upbeat", I'll just leave it at that. Since we were so close to school starting and me having a baby, we decided that Dave would commute to and from Amarillo each week, and the boys would go to CCA for the first semester...that would allow a bit more time to get the house ready to sell, have the baby at our hospital with my OB, and just have a bit more time to mentally prepare ourselves to uproot and leave our home for the past 11 years.
We were very sad to leave our neighborhood that we have grown to love. We built our first house there, and loved the area so much, we bought our 2nd house just about 2 miles down the road. One of our very favorite things about the neighborhood were the pools. During the summer months, we went just about every day, sometimes twice a day.
Here we are, our very last time as Heritage residents, as this was the last day the pools were open for the 2014 season:
We put our house on the market at the end of September, and after only 3 days we received a full-priced offer! We moved in with my parents on Oct 15, the movers came Oct 16, and we closed on Oct 21. The process couldn't have gone any smoother!

We have so many great memories in this house! We are sad to be leaving Keller and OBrien Way, but we are looking forward to new adventures as family of SIX!
