Well, in case you didn't hear, we've been having what some have been calling "Icemaggedon" for the past 5-6 days. We usually get a little ice and/or snow around here a couple times a year, and every now and again school gets cancelled for maybe a day. Well, we had Friday and Monday off, as well as a late start Tuesday. Let's just say this momma was ready for the kids to get back into a routine AT school!
Since we live 25 minutes from school, we carpool with a few families. It is so nice to only have to make the drive once a day. The craziness of 5-6 kids in the car never gets less crazy. Here is how these crazies felt after their first day back after the ice-days (and Crew and our pre-schooler friend weren't even in the car! this was a "quiet" ride):
